Little Things Can Make A Difference in the Life of a Survivor!

SupportTheSurvivors.org/YasherKoach exists to provide peer-to-peer support to survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault from the Jewish community - both those who are frum and those who are no longer frum.

We have created a community, through the StS Online Forum, that is a supportive, safe place to discuss the issues surrounding sexual abuse as well as the healing process.  Survivors come to our Forum and find a unique network - for some, we are truly a little "family" - where they can share their experiences in a non-judgemental environment.  Together, we aren't so alone in our struggles.

For those who wish it, we also organize private events and get-togethers for survivors and their friends and families on a regular basis.  Those who have previously felt isolated in their pain now have somewhere to turn to when they want to be themselves and with people who understand what they are going through.

In addition to the peer-to-peer support Forum, we also help survivors:

  • By providing resource information for therapy, support groups, and legal procedures.
  • By raising emergency funds for survivors who need safe housing, as well as funds for scholarships and treatment.

As a survivor and/or supporter, we invite you to take the opportunity to be a part of our community!
